In the year 2000 I, Rinku Ghosh, started a self help group along with ten other ladies of my locality under the guidance of  Sreemaa Mahila Samity(SMS). I was the secretary of the group. After continuing in the group for about a year I came to know about the employment opportunity at SMS. Based on my application and the results of selection test in 2001, I was appointed as a field staff. I was promoted as a Supervisor in 2004, then in the monitoring team in 2008 and as the Branch Head of Ranaghat branch in April, 2011. On 15^th April 2017, I switched over to Janakalyan Financial Services Private Limited ( JFSPL) as a Branch Head. In the year 2019 I was elevated to the position of Cluster Head and my Cluster spans over four branches. When I joined SMS in 2000, my daughters were small and the organisation helped me to take care of them by extending all support. My elder daughter has completed her postgraduation in Yoga and the younger one is studying Engineering. My social status as well as financial position has improved with the support of Sreema and Janakalyan.
