Reward & Recognition

Rewards and Recognition serves to recognize and appreciate the superior achievements in all areas and job functions across the organization. Employee recognition for achievements, knowing that one's contributions matter to the organization, and the opportunity for growth and professional development have a considerable impact on employee satisfaction and commitment.

Objectives:

  • Timely rewards and recognition of employee either planned or immediate recognition encourage improvement in productivity, quality of work and customer service.
  • Rewards & Recognition act as a motivational factor for all the employees in the organization.
  • To provide guidelines to recognize specific, unique, value added and critical performance incidents within or beyond expected and predefined performance objectives.
  • To align employee performance and achievements in line with company’s objectives and values.
  • To reward this performance incident in monetary and non-monetary terms indicating organizational recognition and appreciation for the employees.

Note: Rewards & recognition are applicable for all employees in the organization.

Assessment Parameters: Some of the parameters are-

  • EOQ—Employee of the Quarter:
    The Employee of the Quarter Award publicly recognizes an employee for superior performance that exceeds normal expectations. Apart from superior performance judged through KPI ,behavioural aspects towards all stakeholders should be judged.
  • EOY-Employee of Year:
    Should have been nominated as EOQ at least twice during the assessment year.
  • Spot Excellence Award:
    Contribution towards expected deliverables/ key responsibility area which benefit the Organization. The award will be mainly for spot excellence, like contest, initiatives etc.
  • BOE- Back Office Excellence:
    Based on the Extra-Ordinary Performance of functional support employees (HR and Administration, Finance & Accounts, IT and other functions).
  • Further, there will be various motivation forums and award opportunities at the local, area and regional levels.
  • Periodicity:
  • Assessment and recommendation can be done on Quarterly/ Half Yearly/ Yearly basis, and one employee can be nominated multiples times in different quarters. Further any spot achievement awards can be recommended during shorter terms of quarterly basis. For ongoing performance achievements these awards can be assesses on quarterly and yearly basis.
