Parbati Adhikari wife of Ujjal Adhikary hailing from very poor family of Duttaphulia, in the Nadia district. Parbati Adhikari told, "My husband is a daily labour and we cannot manage both square meals for my family members. I want to do something for my family using my own skill of sewing but the problem is money. But the problem is solved when I got loan of Rs.30,000 from Janakalyan. Now I am earning selling nighty and blouse."
Her income has grown substantially and now she could manage partly daily expenses in her family. Her only daughter got married. Now she is leading a satisfactory livelihood.
