Difficulties the client faced prior to joining the Group:
They were struggling to maintain the family due to financial crisis. With the support of Janakalyan Microfinance Services Pvt.Ltd she started to make leather wallet and purse. She recalled, "We cannot maintain our family even my son’s education from my husband's income. I needed to contribute my family", she added.
Rojina was informed from her in-laws about group loan. She decided to make wallet and leather purse. Many women use to make wallet and purse in their locality and they sell it in local Mahajan. Leather is available locally as Leather Industry named Bantala is 15 Km away from their locality.
She said, "I have started to make wallet and purse in my house after taking loan of Rs.20,000 from Janakalyan. Manager also intimated they will increase the loan amount if I repay the loan in time."
" I am not alone, all my group members are doing the same thing and the local Agent is collecting our finish product." She added, "I had appointed a private teacher to coach my children and I also repaired my dilapidated house."
"I am thankful to Janakalyan for their intial credit support of Rs.20,000 in my distress and after repaying the first loan I have also got Rs.30,000", Rojina Khatun recalled. She expressed how all the finish products collected from every group members and sent to local factory. She proudly says that credit goes to Janakalyan for their financial support.
